Tuesday, 26 January 2010
The Immigrant Council of Ireland made a submission to the US Department of State's Trafficking in Persons Report 2010. While acknowledging progress in Ireland in terms of the official response to trafficking and its victims, the ICI raised concerns about the issuing of reflection and recovery permits and temporary residence permits; identification of child victims of trafficking; service provision and efforts to tackle demand for the services of trafficked people.
