Briefing Paper - Summary Deportations

This is one of a series of Briefing Papers the ICI has prepared on current immigration issues. The paper spells out the ICI's position on provisions allowing for summary deportation that were in the 2008 version of the Immigration, Residence and Protection Bill. The Immigration, Residence and Protection Bill 2010 also contains provisions allowing for summary deportations.
