The ICI examined the experiences of migrant children and young people with the Irish immigration system. The paper looks at how immigration rules impact on children, their education, the challenges surrounding the acquisition of citizenship and racism. The paper considered whether our current approach to immigration and integration laws and policies is appropriate and the impact they have on our prospects for social cohesion in the future.
