Submission to An Garda Síochána

The Immigrant Council of Ireland made this submission to An Garda Síochána in June 2006 as a contribution to its strategic planning process.  Among the ICI's recommendations in the submission are calls for on-going support to be provided to victims of racially motivated crimes and for the organisation to sustain efforts to recruit members of ethnic minorities so that An Garda Síochána will mirror the make-up of the society it serves.
