Ioanna Negrello
Legal Information Officer / Caseworker
Ioanna is currently working as a gender-based violence legal caseworker at the Law Centre of the Immigrant Council of Ireland. Her work focuses on supporting migrants in situations of gender-based violence with applications for residence permission under both EU and national law. She holds a law degree and an LLM in International Human Rights Law from the Irish Centre for Human Rights at NUI Galway. Ioanna qualified as a lawyer in France in 2020 and, prior to working at the Immigrant Council of Ireland, she gained experience in a number of NGOs, including an organisation working with victims of human trafficking and a migrants’ rights centre.
