Board of Directors
The Immigrant Council of Ireland is a registered charity in Ireland (Registered Company No. 412824, Registered Charity No. 20061982 and CHY (Revenue) No. 16908).
We are a company limited by guarantee with charitable status.
A non-executive Board of Directors is appointed in accordance with the organisation’s Memorandum & Articles of Association and Company Law. The primary focus of the Board of the Immigrant Council of Ireland is effective and efficient governance in compliance with statutory and legal obligations.
The Immigrant Council’s Board members and the chairman of the Board are volunteers and donate freely of their time, skills and experience.
The Board is supported by a Governance and Finance Committee. The role of the Governance and Finance Committee is to keep the financial management, audit and governance of the Immigrant Council under review. This Committee is chaired by the Treasurer.
